Some loads (inverters in particular) are best connected directly to the battery. The inverter remote control is best connected to the load output. This mode of operation (no regular full charging) will damage a lead-acid battery within a few weeks or months.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNoSpacing\"\u003e The Battery Life algorithm monitors the battery's state of charge and, if necessary, increases the load disconnection threshold day by day (i.e. the load is disconnected earlier) until the energy harvested is sufficient to charge the battery to nearly 100%.
