1. Material for the searchlight is stainless steel and an aluminum alloy for the matching base. 2. The front glass is made of high quality tempered glass, which can withstand the severe temperature fluctuation from intense heating to repeated cooling. 3. The high-precision parabolic polished glass reflector (mirror) is divided into two (2) parts to emit both single and split beams, allowing easy detection of signal buoys located on both sides of the channel. The back of the reflector is reinforced with a special metal plate. 4. The (single) beam can be split vertically into two (2) beams up to 5 degrees on either side of the zero position, i.e., the centerline. The angle of the dark span between two (2) beams can be continuously adjusted from 0 to 10 degrees at the operator's discretion. 5. The searchlight housing is airtight enough to withstand a pressure test of 0.025Mpa (0.25kgf/cm²) and can be equipped with a flexible rubber casing to exhaust the heated air. 6. A spare lamp is also provided in the lamp holder in case of accidents, so in an emergency the lighting can be easily switched by operating the external lever. 7. All materials used for the searchlight are of such high quality that they can withstand the worst weather conditions the ship may encounter while underway. 8. Available with NK (Nippon Kaiji Kyokai) certificate as standard and also ABS, LR, BV, DNV, CCS and others as option if users request.
